May the Lord bless the families of those men and woman who died on 9-11.
Sitting here I am so very thankful to God that he spared my family from the terrible things that happened that day.
My heart aches just thinking about it ... even though it happened twelve years ago.

Never forget.

Braum's IceCream & Just Randomness

Hello all you crazy bloggers. =D
Been having such a great time getting to know our ways around the new town we live in and getting settled for real in our new house.
Went out for a celebratory lunch at The Golden Corral and it was amazing. my dad found a popcorn shrimp that was shaped exactly like a heart and of course he gave it to my mom. hehe!

Better than Pride and Prejudice itself if you ask me guys. ;D LOL!

Anyways.

Oh, and there is like a Braum's ice cream shop on every corner here.
So naturally we got some.
It was great and cheap too. :D

Just realised something ...
Forgot in my last post to actually give you a picture of the outside of our house. hehe!
I am such a scatterbrain.

... and for a crumby close up ...

So yesterday got a call that someone in our area had two beds and a dresser, and crib thing (I think they had a listing on craigslist) and so I and my next to oldest sister have purple coloured sleigh beds and cute little dresser with matching mirror, thus to match our crazy purple/blue/pink/yellow/green/orange walls in our rooms.

YAY! ;)

That (above) is the dresser ... and I and my dad had to re-paint the top, and turns out we had almost the perfect shade of purple to do it. And even though the purple does not match entirely I think it looks terrific. :D
And to spruce up the walls of I and my sister's room I created, drew, and coloured (by per-request of Sarah [my sis]) a ballerina.

It's about three foot just is you nosy people wanna know.
Joking. ;)

Some more posts coming soon.

loves,

~Abilaine

P.S.

Oh, and since I have been getting a lot of encouragement from some of my darrrrrrrrrling followers about starting a drawing/art blog ... well, I have indeed started one. The name ... wait for it ...

I know right?!?!?!?! It is so very poetic in every way.

Not meaning to gloat.

Soooooooooooowwww ... if yah would be so kind as to snap over there (right here) and follow through email (will try to get the Bloglovin' thing up on it as soon as possible)  ... I would love you to death!!!! :D

Many thanks.

(SIDE NOTE: still trying to get the blog up and running, but it is up)

... And "wee, wee, wee, can't get up the doorstep!"

All right everyone get ready for a crazy, creepy, late-night post with no kind of pattern AT ALL!

 Here we goes ...

He is just too cute isn't he?!?!?!?!? I want him for a pet, and I will name him
Squishy, and he shall be my Squishy ...

NEVER MIND!!

Oh, never in a million years shall I achieve those hair-dos ... oh, well.
Guess I will have to live with it ...

And here a kitty with  BIG eyes because no can possibly not say he/she is not outrageously cute!

And a Jane Austen cake. Come on, how cool is that??!?!?!?
The little quill pen is too cute ...

Red shoes ... because everyone must like red shoes ...
EVERYONE!

The dress below just really inspires me for some strange, demented reason ...
the roses and vines are just so beautiful. The gathers up the sleeves are pretty also.

MUST, MUST, MUST try this ... have I told anyone that I am the world HUGEST Despicable ME fan ... ever?!?!?! :P

... It is SOOOOOOOOO fully adorable.

... I am fully serious about this my dad drove by the movie theatre and I saw the poster thing for Despicable ME 2 ... and, well, I screamed.
TURE STORY!
And ... this lady was standing just outside and I scared her SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. I was officially horrified after that ... wait, no! What would be officially horrifying is that if I could not go see the below in theatres.

All right, I'll stop! :D

*FAN-GIRL SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAL*

I just LOVE the minions ... SO MUCH! *sign*

Everyone start laughing if you have seen the trailer for Despicable ME 2 as many times as I have and know what they
these two are laughing at ... ANYONE?!?!?!?!??! :D

Ah, yes, we must not forget this. Ten bucks to the person who knows who she is ... hehe!

WOW! that was crazy!!!!! Hey, but I warned you guys. :D

We all have weirdness we have to share sometimes, and that is all right.

On a side note, however, let me say something else about Despicable ME ... (and, yes, this is really the last time I am gonna talk about it :O ) there is some crude humour in the first one (as I related above I have not seen the second one ... sadly :(  )  but they makers did not OVERDO the crude humour it.
And overall it is a very good movie for adults and kids. :D

Maybe I should just do a review. I think I will.

Fine I'm done now. :)

God Bless you all,

Abilaine

Book Review: Georgiana Darcy's Diary

Summery:

Mr. Darcy's younger sister searches for her own happily-ever-after...

The year is 1814, and it is springtime at Pemberley. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy have married. But now a new romance is in the air, along with high fashion, elegant manners, scandal, deception, and the wonderful hope of a true and lasting love.

Shy Georgiana Darcy has been content to remain unmarried, living with her brother and his new bride. But Elizabeth and Darcy's fairy-tale love reminds Georgiana daily that she has found no true love of her own. And perhaps never will, for she is convinced the one man she secretly cares for will never love her in return. Georgiana's domineering aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, has determined that Georgiana shall marry, and has a list of eligible bachelors in mind. But which of the suitors are sincere, and which are merely interested in Georgiana's fortune? Georgiana must learn to trust her heart--and rely on her courage--for she also faces the return of the man who could ruin her reputation and spoil a happy ending, just when it finally lies within her grasp.

My Thoughts (side note: no spoilers):

All right. Going to be very calm and tactful in writing this ... no silly fan-girl outbursts ... no overly emotional giggles that you all can hear from over the Internet ...

But seriously this is one of the best books I have ever, EVER read.

Yes, of course I was a little scared to read a sequel to marvellous Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice (favourite book I will have you know) because Jane Austen did not write the sequal.

But after reading this ... my opinion was changed. Or rather made.

Georgiana Darcy from the BBC 1995 ... yes, she has blonde
hair and the girl on the cover of the book had dark hair. She
had dark hair in the book like her brother, Darcy.  :) Strange
they made her a blonde in the miniseries ...
All right, if you have not read Pride and Prejudice, or watched one of the movies (I would heartily suggest the  BBC 1995 version) ... just go and read the book and then read this 'cause you not gonna get anything from this if you don't. :)

  *points finger at followers*

Sooooooo ... how did I like this?? Well, seeing I stayed up last night until 3 o'clock (AS IN THE MORNING) I think one might say I enjoyed it. No joke.

  But back to the point.

I guess you may have guess I liked this. Wrong!! Flat out loved this book. Read it on our family's IPad, could not put that IPad down, and I was having fan-girl antics all night. Very likely because I was going delirious ... or just because it was pure awesomeness.

All the characters from P&P which were mentioned were VERY true to the book. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy were giving me happy tears and giggles ... I am a HUGE fan of P&P and so what do I do?!?

This diary had so many funny, and happy, and sad, and wonderful parts in it. I was so rapped up into it. One of the funny parts was that Col. Fitzwilliam was following Georgiana because he thought "a certain rat" (you will know who I am talking about if you read the book   hint hint hint :) ) was going to try to approach her again after coming to Pemberly and demanding "something" from her brother (Darcy) and, well, he ended up punching a person who was NOT "the rat" in the face ... died half laughing and half crying.

I really love how Georgiana becomes more open and courageous. And I really love the way she slowly but surly gets her cousin, Anne de Burgh out of the shadow of her mother. Oops ... Don't guess that was a spoiler. Again you will just have to know the characters to know who I am talking about.

Wonderful book. The authoress outdid herself. :)

I will be re-reading this defiantly.

As far as who I would recommend to read this ... well, certain parts tend to get a little ...  "roWWWWmantic" ! Try to read that in a swoony voice 'cause computers cannot yah know. ;)

So, I would suggest that you are in your teens before you read this.

Anyway, very good book. Enjoyed every minute. A lot of twists and turns until it ends ... lots of suspense, too. It is definitely an attention-keeper There is a second book that goes on from the ending of this one ... must get!!!

You can get the book free on your Kindle here on Amazon.com .

But, anyway, thank you for reading.

Hello ... good-bye ... a random post!

yours truly ...

Hello every one. So spring is here finally. I guess it is time to have a fresh start on things.

Like actually posting personal posts on this blog.   :O

Anyway, I've been having an exciting time around our home. Of course cannot tell you what about ... yet anyway.

 But I will ... soon.

my little sis

Sorry I have been neglecting almost every blog I have. *frowning face*

I've been pretty busy lately. Everything has been rush rush rush and away.

Please pray for me as I try to grow in my faith also! :) Growing up is something I cannot do by myself and sometimes I think I can.  Guess we all get or have had that feeling.

But anyway ... Hope you guys have a great week.

I know I will be.

Random Real Stories #1

It started out as any other day of this week.

(we are all sick, BTW)

You know. I said good-bye to my dad and finished breakfast.

 But then it happened! *shriek*

I was cleaning my room. (things do pill up when you have been sick for a week)

And I walked over to a little nook in my room and suddenly I was holding up my foot in agony.

Guess what?

I had shoved a pin (this kind of pin) in to my foot!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stupid thing ...

Anyway, I got all dramatic.

Notice how I chose a black pin for the picture. :)

Anyway, school awaits.

I'm back

Well, after a = long absence, I am back once more. A lot (and I mean "a lot") has been happening and truly I have just been very tired ... of life.  :)

 Anyway. A post!
Here are some random pics. Lets just say that I have had a pretty random week.
          Hope you enjoy.

Um... no this did not happen at our house!!!! LOL!

He he!

QUESTION: Do you like my new design?

One of my favourite movies. Really.
"Its crazy, I know."

Laughs. Out. Loud.

I'm so witty!!!!!

Yes, indeed.

AHHHHHH! Don't you just luV this scene to pieces.

This guy plays in EVERYTHING!!! Literally.
I just realised he is Legalos (from Lord of the Rings ... all three of them.
Yes, I and my family are watching them for the first time ever. Creepy, but cool).
And he plays Prince Albert on The Young Victoria.
And of course Wickam on Pride and Prejudice.

Hair how-to-dos!

Pure inspiration

P.S. The great thing is ... is that tomorrow is Friday!
*screams with excitement*
