The Elegant Blogger award (please read Sarah, Jenna Condon, Miss Jane Bennet, and Noelle)

So ... a HUGE big thanks to the two gals who nominated/tagged me, Marissa and Isabelle !!

(you gals have saved me from having to like post something from my life ... LOL!)

But on with it before the Abilaine rambles on too far.  :O

  • When you receive the award, link back to and the blog that nominated you (
  • Display the award button in the post
  • Answer all of the 12 questions given in this post (Do not make your own questions)
  • Nominate 8 bloggers
  • Notify them that they have been awarded

1. What made you decide to start blogging?

Um ... just for the simple fact that two certain cousins of mine (Marissa and Emelie) blogged so I had to. :D hehe!
And I have been completely in love with blogging ever since starting.
2. What is your fashion style?
Whatever I wanna wear whenever I wanna wear it. hehe!
Seriously ... I have no idea. I love comfortable outfits that I look nice in. Hey, doesn't everyone?!?!?

3. What is something none of your followers know about you?

WOW! You really want me to answer this?!?! (joking)
Well ... I guess you people may not know that my third finger on my right hand turns outward when I spread my hand out. =O

And that I LOVE ( more like ADORE) milk-chocolate chocolate chips.
This person right here can verify that ... GO ASK HER!! :P

4. What are some of your blogging goals?

Just for my posts to show the real me.
Of course I want them to uplift others and glorify my God, but I don't want a bunch of followers who follow my blog simply because I asked them to. :)

5. Where is your favorite place to shop?

If I had a lot of money ... every mall and Cato in the world!!! YAY!Seeing I DON'T have a lot of money ... thrift stores and just random places I find something I like.

(actually I REALLY love thrift stores ... I have found most of my clothes there!)

6. What would your ideal amount of blog followers be?

 I don't really care??  :)
Having a nice tidy amount of followers who comment a bunch and love everything I post is ideal fro me ... but I kinda already have that!!

7. What are your talents?
  Um ... I guess drawing.
I actually have a drawing blog here. :)

8. Are you a leader or a follower?
I am very content being a follower ... unless when it comes to choosing a movie on movie night at our house (which is actually tonight!! YAY! =D)

9. What is one of your favorite quotes?
(that's one of them up there)

"Just think, Woody, tomorrow night you'll be around the campfire toasting delicious hot smoes ...!"   *geeky head-bobble and smirk*
"There called smores, Buzz."  ~Woody and Buzz, Disney's Toy Story 2

"I'm your new partner! YAY!"  ~ Lucy Wilde, Despicable Me 2

Oh, for crying out loud!!

Great jumping horny toads!!

(anything dramatic that works for the newest dilemma I find myself in! hehe!)

10. Do you have a favorite book or book series?

 Boston Jane
The Elsie Dinsmore books
Enola Holmes mysteries (I love those ... )

11. Out of all of the synonyms for elegant, which would you describe yourself with (smart - stylish - dressy - graceful - dainty - fine)?

Artsy.  =D

(now everyone smile at my wittiness ... *smile*)

12. What is your favorite flower?

Probably a rose, or lily, or maybe ...
Actually I am not that big on flowers. I mean I really think all of them are beautiful ...
but I cannot draw them very well and I guess I am very much prejudiced by that fact.
:D The horror.

But I really love roses ... :)

*face-palms myself for being so cheesy*

I nominate:

Jenna Condon (A Beautiful Heart)
Miss Jane Bennet (Classic Ramblings)

Cannot think of anyone else who has not been tagged/nominated already.
So I am just gonna leave it to four nominations.
Sorry. :D

But don't really care.

God Bless,

Braum's IceCream & Just Randomness

Hello all you crazy bloggers. =D
Been having such a great time getting to know our ways around the new town we live in and getting settled for real in our new house.
Went out for a celebratory lunch at The Golden Corral and it was amazing. my dad found a popcorn shrimp that was shaped exactly like a heart and of course he gave it to my mom. hehe!

Better than Pride and Prejudice itself if you ask me guys. ;D LOL!

Oh, and there is like a Braum's ice cream shop on every corner here.
So naturally we got some.
It was great and cheap too. :D

Just realised something ...
Forgot in my last post to actually give you a picture of the outside of our house. hehe!
I am such a scatterbrain.

... and for a crumby close up ...

So yesterday got a call that someone in our area had two beds and a dresser, and crib thing (I think they had a listing on craigslist) and so I and my next to oldest sister have purple coloured sleigh beds and cute little dresser with matching mirror, thus to match our crazy purple/blue/pink/yellow/green/orange walls in our rooms.

YAY! ;)

That (above) is the dresser ... and I and my dad had to re-paint the top, and turns out we had almost the perfect shade of purple to do it. And even though the purple does not match entirely I think it looks terrific. :D
And to spruce up the walls of I and my sister's room I created, drew, and coloured (by per-request of Sarah [my sis]) a ballerina.

It's about three foot just is you nosy people wanna know.
Joking. ;)

Some more posts coming soon.

Oh, and since I have been getting a lot of encouragement from some of my darrrrrrrrrling followers about starting a drawing/art blog ... well, I have indeed started one. The name ... wait for it ...

I know right?!?!?!?! It is so very poetic in every way.

Not meaning to gloat.

Soooooooooooowwww ... if yah would be so kind as to snap over there (right here) and follow through email (will try to get the Bloglovin' thing up on it as soon as possible)  ... I would love you to death!!!! :D

Many thanks.

(SIDE NOTE: still trying to get the blog up and running, but it is up)

UPdate on AR move

my great wall of inspiration ... actually I have
made several. I have the nook corner in I
and sister's room.
All right.

Wow! I have been so busy lately. I guess that is expected though ... SINCE I AM MOVING!! hehe!

  Should say HAVE moved!

But finally I have a little free time to post something. :D Basically little bits and pieces of some crazy things we have been doing here at our new home. And of course I will share some pics our our new house as well. Not very good ones though.

Overall the move has gone really smooth and we are all settling in great. And out new church is incredible.
In fact a bunch of the families from our church were at our house when we arrived. It was so funny and wonderful to see them all pouring out of the house (which they had already got into for us , plus had laid out Papa's John Pizza for us). We have truly been blessed, and I especially wanna thank the Young family for so much encouragement and funny times since we came here. ;D

School has been going great. Started back on a usual routine Monday morning and everything seems quite homey again.
my little sis trying to fall asleep in the kitchen floor :D
Plus the town we now live in now has like ... everything, right here. Our house is kinda in the city (actually it is in the city limits), but you really would never know it everything is so quiet. And there is a snazzy bunch of apartments buildings right across the street and I like laughing at all the plump VS. skinny joggers, and all the guys and gals walking their fat, lazy poodles. hehehehe! :)

OH! and the library is HUUUUUGE!!!!!! and in the teeny-bopper section there is some chairs and tables behind all the shelves of irrational, trashes romances (which I don't read) so I can go, and draw in peace, and gawk at all the people passing by looking for books.  *evil laugh*

Not true actually ... I am so terribly awkward and shy I cannot even ask the library ladies to help me find a section. LOL!
And I know that really sounds very untrue seeing I blog such crazy wordy stuff ... but I one up differently when I am writing and drawing.

But, in spite of my craziness, I have been enjoying everything immensely ... And I got this horrendous cut on my left hand's third finger. Cannot do anything worth while. And my poor right hand/arm is being used quite ill I shall have all of you know.  :) Now all of you must feel sorry for the poor Abilaine ... hehe!

... OH, and the house is HUGE compared to the one we left behind. :D  Not saying where we have left behind though. I have to have some privacy on the internet, don't I?!?!?! Not that anyone would stalk me or anything, but just saying ...

 Moving on ...

So I'll shut up and give you some pics of the house.

hall view from just outside my room
the walls ARE NOT yellow, BTW! hehe!

front door (I was standing just inside the kitchen)

kitchen ... my sister Lily
dining room

living room ... um, and don't ask about the orange bowl thing in the middle of the floor ...
LOL! We need furniture!!

back yard ... it is fenced in so that is good for my sister's little dog

And I am very sorry if this post is getting out of hand with the Abilaine's craziness ... but I have been thinking, and ... well, I have decided to just be me on here.
Sometimes funny, sometimes sad ... sometimes happy, sometimes just plain weird.
Just write about ... me and my life.

(in a nutshell, RANDOMNESS INC.)

It's my blog after all.

Now all of you can go on your merry way ...

Phew! that was long.

Have a great evening/night all!

BE-DO! BE-DO! BE-DO!  ... hehehehehehehehehehe!

... yes, some of my fan art!!! Minion fan art!

There Marissa, I have now showed you it. You asked me to. LOL! :D

"Best Friend" August Photo Shoot

So just before I and my family's move (which I will tell about in full tomorrow... PROMISE!!) I and my sweet pea of a bestie got together (actually I and my crazy siblings were being baby sat by her family) and we did a crazy funny photo shoot.

And let me tell you, when you get a camera, two best friends, not to mention one of the best friend's absolutely AWESOME photographer of a sister (many thanks to sweet Emelie for doing it for us!) ... well, silliness ensues. :D

All right, that was the understatement of the century.

Long story short (it [the story] really wasn't that long but it sounds so great when you type it in a post ... :D ) I had the best. day. EVER!

So I am gonna share with you some pics I have snagged off her blog (our email is not working that great as of yet, and she probably sent them to me ... :O ) and edited.

  Love you Marissa!

After we took the bottom pic up there we had a nice discussion of how I fall forward when laughing and she falls back ... now yah know you are besties when you talk about that.

 Walking down her BEAUTIFUL walk.

Laughing ... at nothing as usual! ;)

AWE! Can she get coooooter then she is in the above pic?!?!?!????!?!?!?!?

Yea, I look like I am gonna karate chop some one in the very bottom pic. *innocent look*

Yes Marissa, wipe thy golden locks about in the breeze whilst I laugh about it.

Yes, if you care to now I felt much loved after that picture!

Our hair is the same length!?!?!?!?

Well, technically it isn't. She hair is curly, and thus scrunches up more so it reaches much longer.
But I won't think about it. :D

Awwww, yes! Blondes and brunettes must always braid their hair together.
It is quite a must ... LOVE how the curls and the lighter colour in Marissa's hair stand out ...
we have our great photographer to thank for the idea of this. ;D

And my favourite for last ...

 See ya'll!

... yes, I need to change my sign-out button. :D

Fun in the sun ... Or just a random post!

The weather is crazy here!! Was raining then it is now really hot and muggy.

But anyway having fun with the family. The last few days at our little White House with the green roof and shutters have been great!

My funny little sister explaining the amazing art of mid pie making! LOL!

More posts coming soon!
I mean it! :)

Despicable fan-art ... seriously! =D

I have really fell into a rut here. I have been posting a lot lately. :D Which is a good thing.

So took a quite jog this morning ... and I am even more sure it was invented to kill of the weaker specimens of mankind!! Hehe! Which is me! But mostly I was just thinking ...
 You know, all by myself.
I know I could just sit down and think all my life if I did not draw. Drawing just gives me an escape from the chaos -- lets me cool down and let out all the thoughts I have on paper. It lets me express myself better than anything else ... well, writing is a close second. :)

It has been raining so much lately around here, so I have been having a lot of artist time (along with my packing for the move to Arkansas). I love long, rainy days!! I draw my best on them. hehe! So, day after yesterday, after my school was done, I made a cocoon of myself in my room and started drawing.

These are the first pics I have drawn from Despicable Me 2. Ever since I saw it last Sunday my inner FAN-GIRL cannot be contained anymore. Joking.

So here they are ... hope you all (maybe) can tell me what you think! =D   *nods head and grins*

I don't think any of them could be called "spoilers", but if you have not seen Despicable Me 2 or even the first one, and you don't really want to see anything that even might spoil it, DO NOT go on reading and looking at this post. I mean it!!

*points finger at all you guys and gals meaningfully*

By the way, I did all of these freehand just with a few looks at pictures for reference. :)

Lucy Wilde -- end of story! Love her to death, I will have you know. =D
Only she is the hardest cartoon character I have ever attempted to draw. She has very unique characteristics about her that are very hard to capture on paper. :)

And I LOVE how her ID is turned upside-down when she whips it out for Gru to see.
Her "oops" was EPIC! Hehehehehe!

She is awesome.

Moving on.

Gru and Agnes (need to practice on her more...)
Agnes is SOOOOOO cute!

End of the story everyone.

Yes, Lucy's weapon looks like a piece of cheese ... hey, I tried.  :D
It wasn't my fault ... Her heat ray kinda looks like a peice of cheese
when it is not colored.
So there.

And, yes, I drew some more but I am not going to post them yet ...
Because some of you guys who have NOT seen the movie are looking at this post.

Hope you liked 'em!

~Abigail Elaine

P.S.  Do you think it is a good idea to start a blog just for my drawings ... Because I have tons I have not shown you guys yet. :)
Not meaning to brag AT ALL though.

Tell me what you think.
