Caleb Benjamin Born Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 8:10 P.M. 23 in. 11 Lbs, 4 oz.

The newest addition to my family!! YAY!
I am so absolutely excited. He is such a sweet little joy. So very glad the Lord has given him to my family and me!! hehe!
He is HUGE! haha!

Braum's IceCream & Just Randomness

Hello all you crazy bloggers. =D

Been having such a great time getting to know our ways around the new town we live in and getting settled for real in our new house.

Went out for a celebratory lunch at The Golden Corral and it was amazing. my dad found a popcorn shrimp that was shaped exactly like a heart and of course he gave it to my mom. hehe!

Better than Pride and Prejudice itself if you ask me guys. ;D LOL!

Anyways.

Oh, and there is like a Braum's ice cream shop on every corner here. 

So naturally we got some.
It was great and cheap too. :D

Just realised something ...

Forgot in my last post to actually give you a picture of the outside of our house. hehe!

I am such a scatterbrain. 

... and for a crumby close up ...

   So yesterday got a call that someone in our area had two beds and a dresser, and crib thing (I think they had a listing on craigslist) and so I and my next to oldest sister have purple coloured sleigh beds and cute little dresser with matching mirror, thus to match our crazy purple/blue/pink/yellow/green/orange walls in our rooms.

YAY! ;)

That (above) is the dresser ... and I and my dad had to re-paint the top, and turns out we had almost the perfect shade of purple to do it. And even though the purple does not match entirely I think it looks terrific. :D

And to spruce up the walls of I and my sister's room I created, drew, and coloured (by per-request of Sarah [my sis]) a ballerina.

It's about three foot just is you nosy people wanna know. 

Joking. ;)

All right.

  Wow! I have been so busy lately. I guess that is expected though ... SINCE I AM MOVING!! hehe!

  Should say HAVE moved!

  But finally I have a little free time to post something. :D Basically little bits and pieces of some crazy things we have been doing here at our new home. And of course I will share some pics our our new house as well. Not very good ones though.

 Overall the move has gone really smooth and we are all settling in great. And out new church is incredible.
 In fact a bunch of the families from our church were at our house when we arrived. It was so funny and wonderful to see them all pouring out of the house (which they had already got into for us , plus had laid out Papa's John Pizza for us). We have truly been blessed, and I especially wanna thank the Young family for so much encouragement and funny times since we came here. ;D

 School has been going great. Started back on a usual routine Monday morning and everything seems quite homey again.

  Plus the town we now live in now has like ... everything, right here. Our house is kinda in the city (actually it is in the city limits), but you really would never know it everything is so quiet. And there is a snazzy bunch of apartments buildings right across the street and I like laughing at all the plump VS. skinny joggers, and all the guys and gals walking their fat, lazy poodles. hehehehe! :)

  OH! and the library is HUUUUUGE!!!!!! and in the teeny-bopper section there is some chairs and tables behind all the shelves of irrational, trashes romances (which I don't read) so I can go, and draw in peace, and gawk at all the people passing by looking for books.  *evil laugh*

 Not true actually ... I am so terribly awkward and shy I cannot even ask the library ladies to help me find a section. LOL!
 And I know that really sounds very untrue seeing I blog such crazy wordy stuff ... but I one up differently when I am writing and drawing.

  But, in spite of my craziness, I have been enjoying everything immensely ... And I got this horrendous cut on my left hand's third finger. Cannot do anything worth while. And my poor right hand/arm is being used quite ill I shall have all of you know.  :) Now all of you must feel sorry for the poor Abilaine ... hehe!

Anyways.

... OH, and the house is HUGE compared to the one we left behind. :D  Not saying where we have left behind though. I have to have some privacy on the internet, don't I?!?!?! Not that anyone would stalk me or anything, but just saying ...

NEVER MIND!

Moving and Whatnot

So for those of you who do not know yet ... we are moving.

Really, truly, and awesomely we are moving to Arkansas. :D *excited*

 I am so very elated about the whole deal. But packing everything up, and cleaning everything, and not getting a lot of free time (not even to speak about sleep ...) is a little trying on everyone in my family. Hey, at least we are getting through the whole thing without completely passing out. hehe!

My little sister got into the jelly (obviously)!!

  However, everything is going very, VERY smoothing (well except the above ... hehe) considering we are scheduled to move in about 3 weeks from now. :) We are mostly packed (the credit for that is going to my Super-Duper Momma) so that's gonna take a load off the truck of things to do.

 Our front room is getting pretty crowded with boxes. :I

  And it had been raining ever so much. The whole world has been drenched for days. :) Fine ... *rolls eyes* ... only one day. LOL!

  Anyway, I have had a little time for drawing so here are some of my little sketches. I have posted more on Brittany Ann's blog here.

Jobs and "Oscar"

All right.

  So after I and my family took our WONDERFUL trip to Arkansas (which I told about in full here) my dad had contacted someone (actually two people) about a "potential" job, in the area we have been interested in. :D

  I know!! So exciting.

  And, well, my dad met day before yesterday evening with the man he had been talking to. We all were praying so hard about this because we MAY be moving to Arkansas.

  I said MAY.

  Nothing is official as of yet, but after visiting there I and my family loved it SO much; the church we had the privilege (delightful privilege) of visiting was great as well.

  So about the job?!?!?

  Well, my dad said that it was a little different than what he had thought it was, but he is still VERY interested in it though. So ... I am not sure what is going to happen with that whole deal.
 (I am not sure about eh other job as of yet)

  But (strangely) I am not at all worried. Truthfully I am not. I am just going with the flow! :D I have been praying a lot about this thing though lately.

  Anyway. Would be so thankful if you guys would pray! Also I want to thank those who have been praying.You guys are awesome ... like chocolate awesome!!! :D

  All right on to something else. My little sister had been wanting a Dachshund dog for at least three years. Thing is they are seriously hard to find (especially when she wanted a FREE one ...  :D ) and she wanted a full blooded one ... and well today her wish came true. My Grandma called us up and told us about it, but we did not tell Lily anything about it. She was completely clueless, and her reaction was great!!!!!!! :D

  His name is Oscar (as in like the hot-dog brand). He is a dark brown and has already managed to lick my straight in the mouth. :O That was a shocker!! But he is really the sweetest thing ever and he is so cute and wonderful around kids. Plus he is housebroken and sleeps in I and my sister's room (that was interesting last night). Needless to say my sis is fully in love with him.

  I was happy-dancing about the fact she was not going to be crying for a dog anymore.
 Joking.
  She really had been so patient.

  Sooooooo ... I guess that is all for now.

The Fishin' Trip and Mocha Frappes

  Hello, hello! So, have been spending some awesome time with my family lately and have not been very free to post anything, but here if just a little post about our fishing trip (a.k.a. the dreaded, hot fishing trip).


   The little pond went to was so cute!! The elderly man who let us use it is an old family friend and he was so nice. Only ...

... the 1st fish caught was, indeed,  caught by my little brother (the guy in the green shirt)

and it was pretty funny, let me tell yah! And by the way, it was the only fish caught by ANYONE!
I think the fish were hotter than us. LOL!

   Showing off his prize was the funniest. Not sure what my little sister was doing ... I think she may have thought I was taking a picture of her instead of the "great sportsman". HEHE!

  Overall the trip was fun ... and tiring! but who cares.

 Oh, and I almost threw my arm out in my very sad attempt to cast, and my eldest brother starting laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world.

 Oh, well! At least he had a good laugh.

  But seriously these are so good ... my parents say they are better than the ones from Starbucks.
  And I usually do not drink coffee of any kind ... but I do get the frappe when I go out ... sometimes.

Just a little post about life ...

One of the beautiful evenings we have had lately ...

All right.

 This really cannot get anymore awkward than it is!

 I have not posted anything in for a very long time. I am very sure you guys have given up on me, and   yet here I am.

 Let's fill in some gaps.


 My family and I have been making some changes in our home. As in  ... getting closer to the Lord ...praying together more ... studying the Bible ... watching less movies and having more time for family ....  and just building Christian character in general.

 And it is not easy.

  And it never will be "easy" to take a stand in what you believe when so many others do the opposite. And one of the things I want to be able to do is not let what others are doing to come between myself and my parents, and my God.

  For a long while I have been very concerned about what people think of me  (and I know that I will always have that struggle no matter what) ... it has been the question of, "Should I do this even though it is wrong?" or, "I think this will go against what I know is right ... but I am going to see what happens anyway because "they" [yep ... that nerve racking word "they"] are doing it".

 The list goes on.

 I have a problem with being determined in something I am going to do or something I have wanted to NOT do. It is something I struggle with and with God's help I will overcome it. So I have come up with this list that I am going to refer to, to answer the questions I have in everyday life.

 It is not exactly a formal list but just one that I believe will help me with some everyday struggles I have. It is based on what little bit I know of what God wants me to do ... I am still learning and growing in the Lord, with the help of my wonderful parents. :)


(1. Would I do this if Jesus was right here watching me?
(2. Am I doing this just because someone else is doing it ... and will it lead someone else (or myself) into bad influences?
(3. Will what I am doing encourage myself and/or others to honour God?
(5. Is what I am thinking, thoughts I would be perfectly fine with sharing with my family and/or parents?
(6. Do I abstain from the appearance of evil when I am on the computer, on the Internet, or in a mall or store (that has trashy signs, papers, or magazines)?
(7. Have I read my Bible and/or prayed today?


 There are a lot more things I could add to this and I probably will add to it.

 I am not just writing this for a good post or anything. These things are things I want to do or refrain from doing.

 I want to stand up for what I know is right without being afraid that people may shun me for doing it ... and really if they do shun me for doing what I know is right, that would only prove that they are not really interested in me as a person (and Christian) but in what I participated in with them as their "buddy".

  That is not always going to happen I know but I just want to be ready if/when that happens. I want to get my shield (Jesus and my parents) ready and up so when that happens people's comments and actions will not injure me. Sure it will hurt ... but it will not "injure" me as in leading me to think, "Well, maybe I should have just gone along with the sin [or whatever it maybe] to keep the peace with so-n-so over there."

 It may happen in forty years from now, it may happen next week, but I want to be ready when any struggle may come up. I am not ready for a lot of things. Hey, but it is great to know that I've got my parents and my Jesus to help me through it all. :D

Also, I would be greatly encouraged and thankful if you guys would pray for me in my battle.

 I hope this post didn't get too much. :P

Hello everyone!

  Since the holidays are over I am going to be doing some blogging soon. I just got so busy that I have not had time to even comment on other peoples posts. I am going to be doing some posts about some of my favorite movies and books, and maybe even some posts about some story ideas I have been thinking about writing into short books. 

  Oh, and recently I gt a watercolor set and I have been going crazy painting with it. I might post some if the things I have done.
